Meet the Artist

While formally trained as an illustrator, in typical artist fashion Eloise enjoys exploring any form of visual art, such as print making, watercolours, and sculpting. She is always eager to try her hand at new mediums, which in turn is reflected in the variety of workshops she offered through EcoCreatives.

Eloise’s practice is inspired by the infinite beauty of the Natural world, and a desire to protect it. EcoCreatives aim to follow the changing of seasons, invite you to slow down and look at the world around you more closely; the seasonal flowers, the delicate beauty of insects and animals and the incredible landscapes of South East Kent.

Ecocreatives workshops are run as sustainably as possible, limiting waste and repurposing materials, and encouraging the use of natural materials, particularly in certain workshops such as pressed flower Art or natural wreath making - When possible, seasonal foraged botanicals will also be used as inspiration, and to create an immersive atmosphere.

In addition to the benefits of a life more in tune with the Earth’s natural cycles, exercising ones creativity can bring such an incredible sense of achievement. Its therapeutic benefits are undeniable, and it is also such a wonderful way to spend time with loved ones - or meet some new friends!
